Dee Armstrong - Fiddle, percussion, mother

Graduate in Film Making from the Dun Laoghaire College of Art and Design. Classically trained, Dee plays the violin and the hammer dulcimer. She also has a training in ballet and is involved in street theatre with Macnas. She is the driving force behind the kila stage performances involving acrobats and performers. Her favorite colour is Singapore Sunset Pink Her favorite number is three (because it's magic number).
 


A mother of four, an award winning film maker/director joined Kíla in 1991, she also attended courses in stainglass, reflexology, massage and is presently writing her second children's play. She has composed for theatre and film and played with bands Yemenja and Orangeeboom.
